Local Bank President Named to a National Community Banking Organization's Committee

(Metro New Orleans, May 5, 2003) President and CEO of Parish National Bank, Gary Blossman has accepted an invitation to serve on the Independent Community Banker's Association Payments and Technology Committee for 2003-2004.

ICBA's Payments and Technology Committee addresses the myriad of issues related to the online delivery of financial services, and works to ensure open and competitive payments systems – checks, debit and credit cards, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and emerging electronic payments. On the technology front, the committee focuses on providing community bank technology information.

Blossman, a graduate of Louisiana State University and Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University will play a crucial roles in vetting payments and technology issues affecting the community banking industry and in shaping ICBA's positions on these issues.

Rusty Cloutier, ICBA's chairman and President of the Lafayette based Mid-South Bank commented, "Gary will be a tremendous asset to the payment and technology committee. Parish National Bank Will Open US Post Office in New Kenner Branch

(Metro New Orleans, October 31, 2003 – Parish National Bank will open a US Post Office in their new Kenner facility located at 2609 Veteran's Blvd. The office will open on Monday November 3rd. The full service post office will be located in the bank's main lobby. The public may purchase stamps and other postal products, as well as, mail and ship packages. The post office will be open the same hours as the bank branch.

South Shore Manager Freddie Elliott commented, "The opening of the post office is just another way for us to provide exceptional customer service. We have had a post office in one of our Slidell locations for some time and our customers have enjoyed the one stop shopping. It allows us to be more convenient and provide a valuable service for the community."

In addition to the Post Office in the Bank's Slidell and Kenner location, the bank will be adding Post offices to their Hwy 59 office located in Mandeville and their French Quarter location scheduled to open first quarter next year.

Parish National Bank opens more locations in New Orleans Area

(Metro New Orleans, LA February 26, 2004) - Gary Blossman, President and CEO of Parish National Bank, recently announced PNB has opened three additional locations on the South shore. This will bring the banks total offices in the metro New Orleans area to 13, and 4 locations on the South Shore of New Orleans.

The new offices are located at: 2609 Veterans Blvd in Kenner, 207 North Peters in the French Quarter, and 3235 North Causeway in Metairie.

South Shore Market Manager Freddie Elliott commented, Parish National Bank has had a presence on the south shore since 1999, with our one location at Veterans and Cleary. This office has exceeded our growth expectations and pointed out the need for additional locations in the area to service our customers.

Parish National Bank Acquires Florida Based Mortgage Company

(Metro New Orleans, October 15) President and CEO of Parish National Bank, Gary Blossman, recently announced the Bank has purchased Access Mortgage Corporation. Access Mortgage Corporation, has been in operation for over 10 years began under the leadership of Robert L. Brown, Sr, his son, Robert L. Brown, Jr and Earl Clark and Carole Simpson. It has become a nationally recognized lender based in Northwest Florida with branches all along the Gulf Coast.

In addition, Parish National Bank has recently opened a loan production office in Destin, Florida. Sr. Vice President, Chris Blossman is managing the Florida operation for the bank.

Blossman explained why the purchase of Access Mortgage was a sound business decision for the Bank. "My family has had a presence in Destin for a number of years. We have owned a home there since 1980. My mother and father have become an active part of the Destin community and they have wanted to bring the type of customer centered banking offered to our customers here to the Florida market for a long time. Since we opened the loan production office in Destin, acquiring Access Mortgage was the next logical step."
