How much do I need to open an account?

You may open a checking or savings account with a deposit of just $50.00.

What documents do I need to open an account?

To open a personal account, you will need one of the following:
  • Valid State driver's license
  • State photo ID
  • Military ID with Picture
  • Passport

To open a commercial account:

Sole Proprietors
  • Proper ID (see above)
  • Social Security Number
Partnership
  • Proper ID
  • Tax ID Number
  • Partnership Agreement
Corporation
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Tax ID Number
  • Certified Certificate of Incorporation
  • Minutes of meeting showing elected officers

Resolutions for each type of commercial account will be completed at Parish National Bank.

How many locations do you have?

We have ten full service locations throughout St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Jefferson and Washington Parishes. See our locations page for addresses.

Why is my Online Banking balance different than my ATM balance?

ATM inquiry includes the available balance on your account (last posting balance plus any memo-posted transactions since) and any unused credit on an Overdraft Protection Loan tied to the account, if present. Available balance on the Online Banking system includes the last posted balance plus any memo-posted transactions since.

What if I forgot my Online Banking User ID and/or Password?

Just call our Online Banking Administrator at (985) 898-5400.

Do you have safety deposit boxes?

We have safety deposit boxes in four different sizes to meet your needs. There is an annual fee based on size which is debited from your checking or savings account.

Do you charge for your ATM card?

We do not charge an issue fee for our ATM or Checkcard and you can use your Checkcard throughout south Louisiana free anywhere you see the Community Cash symbol.

How long will it take to open an account?

The amount of time depends on your needs. It will take, on average, 20 minutes.

Can I transfer money between accounts by phone?

Yes, our Personal Touch 24 system allows you to transfer money anytime, 24 hours a day. Click here for a listing of the Personal Touch 24 phone number nearest you. You may also use our Online Banking functions located in this site to perform transfers.

How do I get a temporary statement?

You may use our Online Banking system or our exclusive Secure Document eXchange (SDX) system to print a statement; or you may request one by calling Customer Service at (985)898-5400 during normal business hours. You may also get a statement at any branch office; however, there is a fee of two dollars for this service.
